La semaine dernière, nous cuisions, nous fondions, nous nous liquéfiions à  38 ou 39°C...

Puis le mistral a soufflé ... Certes, la température a baissé : 15°C ce matin....

Mais il faut connaître aussi ce qu'il est capable de faire :

Lorsque j'étais plus jeune, il avait tordu la portière de ma 2CV et m'avait même jetée, un autre jour, à genoux sur le sol ...

Non, je vous assure, je ne plaisante pas, et je n'exagère pas même si les provençaux ont tous la réputation d'exagérateurs....La sardine dans le port de Marseille...

Vous voyez là, sur cette photo le cyprès de Toscane de notre minuscule petit jardin : je l'ai souligné de rouge....

Eh! bien, voilà comme nous l'avons trouvé ce matin, après une nuit de mistral...

Il n'est pas cassé, heureusement... Mais la corde qui letenait a rompu sous les assauts du vent: on la devine au centre de la photo...

La canicule l'a fait souffrir de la soif, le mistral a failli l'achever...

Pendant la canicule, je suis restée cloîtrée, à l'abri. Cela m'a permis debroder, bien évidemment et d'avancer dans mon SAL d'Angie, le Lavender Lace.
Et voici le résultat de mes efforts.

It has not broken, fortunately ... But the rope  with which he was firmly fastened was broken under the onslaught of wind (you can guess it in the center of the photo...)
It suffered by the heat, from thirst, the mistral almost completed its destruction ...
During the heat wave, I stayed cloistered away. This allowed me to embroider obviously and advance in my SAL Angie, Lavender Lace.
And here is the result of my efforts.

Si vede in questa foto il cipresso toscano del nostro giardino piccolo piccolo (ho fatto rosso ....)
Eh! Beh, è così che l’abbiamo trovato questa mattina, dopo una notte di maestrale ...
E non è rotto, per fortuna ... Ma é la corda che era rotta sotto l'assalto del vento (si posse indovinarla nel centro della foto ...)
Il povero albero a sofferto il calore, la sete, il maestrale quasi completa ...
Durante l'ondata di caldo, sono rimasta dentro di clausura. Questo mi ha permesso di ricamare, e, naturalmente, per avanzare nel mio SAL Angie, Lavander Lace. Ed ecco il risultato dei miei sforzi..
